Londres, 13 dic (EFE).- Con dos ex esposas y numerosas amantes a sus espaldas, Mick Jagger confiesa que el matrimonio le da "poca satisfacción", como escribe hoy The Times en alusión a la popular canción de los Rolling Stones, "Satisfaction".
"Tengo una opinión algo más bohemia. Para ser sincero, no tengo buena opinión del matrimonio. No digo que no sea algo maravilloso o que la gente no debería casarse, pero no es algo que esté hecho para mí. Y parece que tampoco para muchas otras personas", declara el músico.
Jagger, que sale actualmente con la diseñadora de moda y modelo estadounidense L'Wren Scott, afirma que él siempre ha ayudado a las mujeres que han estado a su lado.
"Ayudé a Marianne Faithfull en su carrera cuando yo tenía unos veintidós años. Solía leer los guiones con ella. Y si se trataba de 'Tres Hermanas' (de Chéjov), yo hacía el papel de las otras hermanas", recuerda el músico.
"Cuando viví con Jerry Hall, solía ayudarla a elegir sus fotos de presentación, o si estaba haciendo algo en el teatro, leía las obras con ella. Eso es lo normal y funciona en ambas direcciones", afirma.
Jagger explica por otro lado que los famosos como él tratan siempre de "controlar su imagen" aunque no sea posible al "cien por cien".
"Si eres alguien famoso, tienes lógicamente una personalidad pública ...que quieres proyectar", señala.
El realizador estadounidense Martin Scorsese, que colaboró con él en el documental "Shine a Light" sobre los Rolling Stones, dice de Jagger que trata de "dominar hasta el último detalle de todos los aspectos de la producción".
"No me refiero sólo a la música, sin que también tiene un gran sentido de lo cinematográfico", afirma Scorsese.
"Uno puede delegar en otros, y hay que hacerlo hasta cierto punto, pero si uno no está siempre detrás, poniendo (en el proyecto) todos sus conocimientos, no va a salir algo tan interesante, y tal vez no sea lo que uno quería. Y va a sentirse decepcionado", explica el propio Jagger.
No es sólo en lo creativo en lo que siempre ha querido empeñarse el músico británico: su control de las finanzas de los Rolling Stones ha ayudado a hacer de esta banda una de las más ricas de la historia del rock'n'roll aunque esto parezca contradecir el propio espíritu anárquico del género.
