El representante legal mencionó que la regiomontana solamente fue retenida por 2 horas, tiempo que tardó en enviarse la sentencia definitiva de Chihuahua a las autoridades de la Interpol en Chile, con la que demostraron que Gloria Trevi fue exonerada de todos los cargos.
Cabe aclarar que la retención no debió haber sucedido, ya que Gloria fue declarada inocente por un juez de lo penal, y por ende, confirmada dicha sentencia.
Gloria viajó a Chile porque está de promoción debido a que será juez en el próximo festival de Viña del Mar.
