María Chávez, hija del recientemente fallecido presidente venezolano Hugo Chávez, se ha convertido en sensación de la prensa rosa de su país una fotografía en la que aparece con el actor de telenovelas Manuel "Coco" Sosa.
La joven, de 30 años, publicó la fotografía en la red social Twitter y debajo de ella escribió: "Con tooooodo nuestro amor. Se les quiere".
En la imagen María Chávez y "Coco" Sosa, galán de varios culebrones de la televisión venezolana, aparecen muy risueños y mirando de frente a la cámara.
Varios medios de prensa nacionales acudieron de inmediato a los archivos y encontraron que ambos figuran también juntos en varias otras gráficas captadas en los últimos días, tanto junto al féretro del gobernante fallecido el mes pasado como en el acto de asunción de Nicolás Maduro como su sucesor, el pasado domingo.
Entre los comentarios en su cuenta en Twitter (@Maby80) destaca uno que le pide al actor cuidar a "la consentida" de Chávez y otro en el cual un admirador identificado como Ángel Pérez (@elangel154) recrimina a Sosa haberla "levantado" (enamorado).
El pasado 17 de abril la hija de Chávez escribió: "Buenas noches Cokin! Q duermas rico y q Dios t bendiga. Tqm", lo que ha dado pie a que la prensa de farándula tenga el noviazgo como plenamente confirmado, lo que explícitamente ninguno de ellos ha hecho.
Sosa, de 30 años, ha participado en las teleseries "Mi gorda bella", "Qué buena se puso Lola" y "Amor a palos", entre otras, todas de la emisora nacional Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV), en cuya academia teatral se graduó actor.
En mayo de 2009, el entonces presidente venezolano presentó al médico chileno Pablo Sepúlveda Allende, nieto menor del presidente Salvador Allende, como "compañero" de su hija María.
María Chávez, que aparecía como la virtual primera dama tras el segundo divorcio de su padre, alcanzó notoriedad cuando se convirtió en la primera denunciante de que Chávez era "un presidente preso", en los hechos que marcaron su breve derrocamiento en abril de 2002.
