Según la edición de hoy de la revista "Star Magazine", el actor estaría pensando dejar la controversial religión, luego de su crisis tras el divorcio de Katie Holmes y el alejamiento de su única hija biológica, Suri.
"Tom aún no dice si dejará definitivamente la Cienciología. Pero se está distanciando de los miembros de la iglesia y ha salido con muy buenos amigos que no son parte de la religión", aseguró al medio una fuente cercana.
Según la publicación, el protagonista de "Misión imposible" ha estado meditando la participación que tuvo la Cienciología con sus fracasos sentimentales, en especial de sus exesposas Katie Holmes y Nicole Kidman, y su relación con Penélope Cruz.
"Tom ha aprendido de amigos que tienen diferentes perspectivas, teniendo consejos sobre su situación con Katie y de todo lo que ocurre con la Cienciología. Finalmente está viendo que el ser un defensor de la religión no le funcionó como esperaba. Ha pasado por tres divorcios y su percepción pública cayó drásticamente", agregó la fuente.
