Si el comentario de Alicia Machado en su cuenta de Twitter sobre el conflicto en Corea causó la burla de los usuarios y que la modelo cancelara su cuenta, la publicación que hizo Paulina Rubio en ese mismo sentido para defender a la venezolana, cometiendo otra pifia, generó más críticas en diversos medios.
Machado habría escrito: "Esta noche quiero pedirles que me acompañen en oración por la paz que estos ataques entre las CHINAS no empeoren nuestra situación", comentario que provocó burla y decidió cerrar su cuenta de Twitter.
En su defensa la cantante mexicana Paulina Rubio escribió en su cuenta "Déjenla en paz todos los japoneses se parecen y China es muy grande".
En el programa "La Taquilla" Hilda Isa Salas, comentó que al darse cuenta de su error "la chica dorada" eliminó su intervención de la red social, pero se leen comentarios que hacen referencia a los errores.
